To: RESIDENTS OF AMERICA

Here’s how it is: in a lot of these communities in big industrial states like Ohio and Pennsylvania and all through out our United States, people have been beaten down so long. They feel so betrayed by government that when they hear a pitch that is premised on not being cynical about government, then a part of them just doesn’t buy it.

But the truth is, is that, our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there’s not evidence of that in their daily lives. You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter.

Barack Obama, 4/11/2008

“The underlying truth of what I said remains, which is simply that people who have seen their way of life upended because of economic distress are frustrated and rightfully so,”

Barack Obama, 4/12/2008

“I want to campaign the same way I govern, which is to respond directly and forcefully with the truth,”

Barack Obama, 11/08/07

Qoute From the movie “Network” 1976

Howard Beale: I don’t have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It’s a depression. Everybody’s out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel’s work, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there’s nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there’s no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TV’s while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that’s the way it’s supposed to be. We know things are bad – worse than bad. They’re crazy. It’s like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don’t go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, ‘Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won’t say anything. Just leave us alone.’ Well, I’m not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don’t want you to protest. I don’t want you to riot – I don’t want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn’t know what to tell you to write. I don’t know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you’ve got to get mad.

Howard Beale: [shouting] You’ve got to say, ‘I’m a HUMAN BEING, Goddamnit! My life has VALUE!’ So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window. Open it, and stick your head out, and yell,
[shouting]

Howard Beale: ‘I’M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!’ I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell – ‘I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!’ Things have got to change. But first, you’ve gotta get mad!… You’ve got to say, ‘I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!’ Then we’ll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it:

Howard Beale: [screaming at the top of his lungs] “I’M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!”

Howard Beale: All I know is, you’ve got to get mad. You’ve got to say, “I’m a human being, goddamn it. My life has value.”

Howard Beale: We’ll tell you anything you want to hear, we lie like hell.

Howard Beale: You’re beginning to believe the illusions we’re spinning here, you’re beginning to believe that the tube is reality and your own lives are unreal. You do. Why, whatever the tube tells you: you dress like the tube, you eat like the tube, you raise your children like the tube, you even think like the tube. This is mass madness, you maniacs. In God’s name, you people are the real thing, WE are the illusion.

If You Feel As An American That Because Of The Previuos Administrations of the last 20 Years, Actions or Inactions, Have Left You Bitter Or Frustrated and Angry. I Write This To Poll America Since The Media Can Poll Everything Else Except This. If You Can Identify With This Petition?

Please Sign This Petition

Sincerely,

What is ISO 9000?
The term ISO 9000 refers to a set of quality management standards. ISO 9000 currently includes three quality standards: ISO 9000:2005, ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 9004:2000. ISO 9001:2000 presents requirements, while ISO 9000:2005 and ISO 9004:2000 present guidelines. All of these are process standards (not product standards).
ISO ‘s purpose is to facilitate international trade by providing a single set of standards that people everywhere would recognize and respect.
The ISO 9000 2000 Standards apply to all kinds of organizations in all kinds of areas. Some of these areas include manufacturing, processing, servicing, printing, forestry, electronics, steel, computing, legal services, financial services, accounting, trucking, banking, retailing, drilling, recycling, aerospace, construction, exploration, textiles, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, pulp and paper, petrochemicals, publishing, shipping, energy, telecommunications, plastics, metals, research, health care, hospitality, utilities, pest control, aviation, machine tools, food processing, agriculture, government, education, recreation, fabrication, sanitation, software development, consumer products, transportation, design, instrumentation, tourism, communications, biotechnology, chemicals, engineering, farming, entertainment, horticulture, consulting, insurance, and so on.
How does ISO 9000 Work?
Here’s how it works. You decide that you need to develop a quality management system that meets the new quality standard. That’s your mission. You choose to follow this path because you feel the need to control or improve the quality of your products and services, to reduce the costs associated with poor quality, or to become more competitive. Or, you choose this path simply because your customers expect you to do so or because a governmental body has made it mandatory. You then develop a quality management system that meets the requirements specified by ISO 9001:2000.

In the course of doing so, you may also wish to consult the ISO 9000:2005 and ISO 9004:2000 guidelines. However, please remember that your quality management system must meet ISO’s requirements, not its guidelines.
But how do you develop such a quality management system? There are at least two approaches. You can do either a Gap Analysis or follow a detailed System Development Plan.
If you’ve already got a quality management system and you’re happy with the way it operates, then we suggest that you use a Gap Analysis to upgrade to the new ISO 9001 2000 standard. A Gap Analysis will tell you exactly what you need to do to meet the ISO 9001 2000 Quality Management Standard. It will help you identify the gaps that exist between the new ISO Standard and your organization’s processes. Once you know where the gaps are, you can take steps to fill your gaps. By following this incremental approach, you will not only comply with the new ISO 9001 Standard, but you will also improve the overall performance of your organization’s processes.
However, if you don’t have a quality management system or you’re not happy with the one you’ve got, then we suggest that you use our ISO 9001 2000 Process Oriented Quality Management System Development Plan to develop your quality management system. If you follow the detailed steps that make up our System Development Plan, you’ll end up with a quality management system that will meet your needs and ISO’s requirements.
Once your quality management system has been fully developed and implemented, you carry out an Internal Audit to ensure that you’ve met every single ISO 9001 2000 requirement.
When you’re ready, you ask a Registrar to audit the effectiveness of your quality management system. If your auditors like what they see, they will certify that your quality system has met ISO’s requirements. They will then issue an official certificate to you and they will record your achievement in their registry.
You can then announce to the world that the quality of your products and services is managed, controlled, and assured by a registered ISO 9001 Quality Management System!
However, you don’t have to be registered. ISO does not require formal registration (certification). You can be in compliance without being registered by an accredited auditor. But, your customers are more likely to believe that you have an effective quality management system if an independent external auditor says so.
Why is ISO 9000 Important?
ISO 9000 is important because of its orientation. While the content itself is useful and important, the content alone does not account for its widespread appeal.
ISO 9000 is important because of its international orientation. Currently, ISO 9000 is supported by national standards bodies from more than 120 countries. This makes it the logical choice for any organization that does business internationally or that serves customers who demand an international standard of quality.
ISO is also important because of its systemic orientation. We think this is crucial. Many people in this field wrongly emphasize motivational and attitudinal factors. The assumption is that quality can only be created if workers are motivated and have the right attitude. This is fine, but it doesn’t go far enough. Unless you institutionalize the right attitude by supporting it with the right policies, procedures, records, technologies, resources, and structures, you will never achieve the standards of quality that other organizations seem to be able to achieve. Unless you establish a quality attitude by creating a quality system, you will never achieve a world-class standard of quality.
Simply put, if you want to have a quality attitude you must have a quality system.
This is what ISO recognizes, and this is why ISO 9000 is important.

ISO 9001:00 is management system and it could improve the over all organization performance in following area.
· Market recognition as a compliant company
· Giving edge on competitors
· Improving internal controls through
· Regular third party audits including internal control regular reviews by management
· Consistency in the system as every one follows the system market requirement
· Proper feed back on customer complaints and improvement of system process are will defined and documented
· New employs take less time to understand the process
· Consistency in the process
· Open communication and lot others

Bismillah.

As Muslims, the phrase “alhamdulillah” اَلحَمْدُ لِله is an integral part of our deen; we are taught to say it from both the Qur’an and Sunnah and most of us have this phrase in our everyday vocabulary, not to mention we read it every day in Suratul Faatihah. ‘Alhamdulillah’ is an amazingly deep word, which would take pages upon pages to explain properly in English (which has been done by the scholars) but the explanation that follows is very brief so that we can convey the core of what this phrase really contains.

Linguistically, Hamd is from ha-meem-daal ( حمد or ح م د) and hamd to mention the good attribute of a person, such an attribute that is the at the level of perfection. Hamd is based on mahabbah (love) and ta’dheem (honor). Hamd is not a ‘fake’ praise, meaning it is not done to please the person or without significance, rather Hamd is always true. Hamd implies admiration, love and magnifying the praise of the mahmood (one who is praised). Hamd can only be done for a living being who has an intellect. Hamd is a sincere and true praise, a praise that the mahmood (one who is praised) deserves. The one doing hamd is doing submission to the one being praised out of humility. Hamd also includes sincere gratitude and mentioning the kamaal (best) traits of someone.

When we say ‘alhamdulillah’, it implies exclusivity and entirety, meaning that praise is entirely and only for Allah. How do we know this? The ‘al’ (ال) before ‘hamd’ is called “istighraaq” in Arabic, and when “al” comes before this phrase its means that the entire praise, all kinds of praise and at all times, is due to Allah. The “li” ( لِ in lillah, meaning, for Allah) implies limitation which is known as “ikhtisaas” in Arabic and it means that Allah is the only One who deserves the hamd.

Now with this concrete definition in mind, what does ‘Alhamdulillah’ really mean? A more suitable definition would be: The perfect, most beautiful praise is only for Allah. We say ‘alhamdulillah’ out of love, honor, with humility, complete submission and sincere gratitude to Allah azza wa jal. In the Qur’an we learn that ‘alhamdulillah’ will be the last call of the believers in Jannah, Allah tells us:

وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

“and the last of their call will be Alhamdulillah, Rabb of all that exists!” (Surah Yunus, verse 10)

‘Alhamdulillah’ appears 38 times in the Qur’an. (Trivia for the readers: mention in the comments how many surahs begin with ‘alhamdulillah’ and which surahs they are!)

When a surah begins with hamd, it implies three interpretations:

Firstly, to tell and to make it known that: alhamdulillah. As if to announce it.

Secondly, it teaches us that when we open something, we begin with hamd. (like a khutbah)

Thirdly, it teaches us how to praise Allah (by saying alhamdulillah) and we also learn that we must praise Him.

A Name of Allah that coincides with Hamd is Al-Hameed. Allah ta’ala is Al-Hameed, The Most Praiseworthy. How is Al-Hameed different from mahmood (one who is praised)? Mahmood is one who is praised only when they are praised by someone. Hameed is One who is ALWAYS deserving of praise, NO MATTER if He is praised or not. So Allah ta’ala is THE Most Praiseworthy, if we do hamd of Him or not.

Alhamdulillah.

Such a short phrase, such a deep meaning.
